We rent the apartment throughout the year. Rates vary from 365 euros per week in winter, to 525 euros per week in summer. Mimimum rental is always a week, from Saturday to Saturday. Payment in Euros, Pounds sterling or ZAR.
The apartment is geared for two people, and no children under 12 are accepted. Why? Because there are glass tables, standard lamps and objects that are a little too fragile for the average boisterous youngster.
We normally ask for a 30 per cent deposit which later serves as a refundable damages deposit while the visitor is in residence, lodged in our account. We do however accept PayPal payments. Then we favour full payment three weeks before. The damages deposit will be returned within 14 days of the apartment being vacated and confirmation that all is in order within the apartment.
We can issue a rental contract if that is what you'd like, but generally we work on an agreement of reciprocal trust - and that has been perfect for the last 18 years.
We are also open to long winter rentals at a special monthly rate (exclusive of electricity) in the quieter season and have successfully rented the apartment in winter to Canadians, English and French guests.
